T-UP Climbing Gym - Xindian Branch, opened in 2023, is located on the 7th floor of Yulon City in Xindian District, New Taipei City (same floor as Vieshow Cinemas). It is an indoor climbing gym combining lead climbing and bouldering. The gym features an approximately nine-meter-high lead climbing wall with five auto-belays and a Top Rope area, allowing solo climbers to use the auto-belays. There is also a spacious bouldering area and a balance wall. Routes are graded by difficulty and named, making them very beginner-friendly. First-time visitors will watch a safety video, followed by a coach demonstration and practice before starting to climb, ensuring proper technique. On-site facilities include a water dispenser, a foot washing area, and equipment rental (harness rental is an additional charge per use). Note that its location is somewhat hidden in a corner on the top floor of Yulon City, requiring a bit of searching, and there can be many children on weekends.
