Since 2005, it has been a promotional venue for sailing and kayaking sports. A water sports center is located under Chenglu Bridge, assisting with insurance procedures and equipment rental, and equipped with shower and changing facilities. Before entering the water, participants must purchase insurance and wear a life jacket. The base operates during summer (April to October) and winter (November to March) seasons. The surrounding area also features flat walking paths and sports fields, suitable for strolling, brisk walking, and family outdoor activities.
